Guess all of us know about Train ticket booking. We the people don't have access to bullet train like foreigners which take you to destined place in short span.

And the ratio of our Indian population to number of trains available has a huge difference. So, we see a huge competition while booking the tickets.

The competition is so severe that we have to book train tickets one month prior our journey date. If we miss out on it, then we have only one chance of getting the reserved ticket i.e. Tatkal Tain ticket booking 

Tatkal ticket bookings started on October 1, 2014. It began first considering 80 pilot trains. During the the initial days you could collect through online but however, now you can also collect from the stations through offline. It's not a piece of cake to get a ticket in Tatkal system. You have to be at Usain Bolt's pace to avail a ticket while booking it.
